Answers to frequently asked questions about Google Play closed testing

Below you will find answers that help you quickly and safely get the service on our site: guaranteed completion of the closed testing stage required to publish an Android app for new Google Play accounts.

I am new. How do I connect testers to closed testing?

We prepared a short and clear guide on how to add the «12testers» tester group to start testing. You can read it here: /en/documentation

How does the testing process work?

We continuously test your app for at least 14 days using real users and real devices. Our testers actively use your app while meeting all Google Play requirements.

How does the customer participate in the testing process?

Almost not at all. After placing an order, provide all required data and follow our setup instructions for closed testing. Then we will notify you when testing starts. After that, no action is required from you: in 14 days you will receive a completion notification.

How quickly does testing of my app start?

Usually we start testing within 1-12 hours. Sometimes the start is delayed for reasons on the customer side: not all countries are opened, changes are not confirmed in Google Play Console, payment crediting is delayed, and so on. In practice, 96% of orders are completed in 14 days.

I already have 10 testers. I am asked to connect a Google Group: what should I do?

If you already added testers as a list (friends, family, and so on), they can continue participating in testing. The main thing is not to delete the list. Add the suggested address to Google Group, and new testers will test at the same time as the participants you connected earlier.

My app requires registration, an SMS code, or payment to sign in. What should I do?

Testers must be able to enter the app without payment, registration, or SMS. Google account authorization is allowed. You can also provide test access: login and password, PIN code, or a special “Test access” button if entry to the app is restricted.

Do we guarantee publication of the app on Google Play?

No. Google makes the publication decision: we cannot influence moderation results or the final approval of the app. We only guarantee successful completion of the closed testing stage, after which Google Play Console will unlock the option to publish the “production version”.
